The key of B flat major has 2 flats which are B flat and E flat.  A useful way to remember the order of flats is to remember a sentence or phrase that will nudge your memory of the order of flats.  There are many sentences and phrases used but my favourite is:

Bad Elephants Always Drink Good Coffee First

(The order of flats is the order of sharps in reverse, Fat Cats Go Down And Eat Bacon)

The notes of the B flat major scale are:

B flat  C   D   E flat   F   G   A   B flat

  1. Note 1 or 1st degree:  B flat – which moves one tone or whole step to
  2. Note 2 or 2nd degree: C – which moves one tone or whole step to
  3. Note 3 or 3rd degree: D – which moves one semitone or half step to
  4. Note 4 or 4th degree: E flat – which moves up on tone or whole step to
  5. Note 5 or 5th degree: F – which moves up on tone or whole step to
  6. Note 6 or 6th degree: G – which moves up one tone or whole step to
  7. Note 7 or 7th degree: A – which moves up one semitone or half step to
  8. Note 8 (also note 1): B flat, one octave up from the starting first note of the scale
